Intermediate-Advanced Contemporary Masterclass with Ausia Jones! (Ages 12-26)
AUSIA JONES is enjoying her 2nd year with Royal Ballet of Flanders in Belgium after 3 years dancing and choreographing with Les Ballets Jazz in Montreal. She has had the honor of performing works by William Forsythe, Robert Battle, Aszure Barton and Jiri Kylian among others. She has choreographed for her Alma Mater, USC Kaufman School’s Choreography Project in Los Angeles, CA, as well as for New York Live Arts in New York City, and for Les Ballet Jazz de Montreal where her work was on a triple bill with Crystal Pite both in Canada and on international tour.
Ausia Jones is a 2-time Outstanding Choreographer winner at YAGP, the Orion Choreographic Fellowship Recipient, Toulmin Creator Grant Recipient, White Bird panelist Celebrating Black Women in Dance, YoungArts Honorable Mention in Choreography and Modern Dance, and 2020 USC Deans Scholarship (Quarter-Tuition Academic Award).
As she cultivates her passion for dancing and creating dance, Ausia strives to share her knowledge and love for dance in a way that inspires and educates the next generation of young artists.
